Lunedì di questa settimana sono tornato qui a Klagenfurt, dopo una tranquilla settimana di ferie passata in Italia.
Alcune delle cose che avevo in programma di fare sono saltate: non ho comperato niente perchè era un suicidio andare in giro per negozi ( ma non c'era the crisis? ) And I have studied almost anything out of laziness (a classic). For the rest, I spent much time with friends and family, and I relaxed. My parents were happy with the digital picture frame that we have given them my brother and I, and I hope to use sometime. My brother was a bit 'less happy with the DVB stick that I took, because he lives where the signal is too weak, and therefore can not see any channels. Too bad. I, like gifts, I received a beautiful sweater from his brother (a gift that I like always) and a bit 'of money from my parents, to buy the oven, now that I'll be moving into the new room. At home, apart from the usual evening at the bar, I took the opportunity to go to to visit my ex-colleagues, I have seen very happy to go to say goodbye to some family friends I had not seen so much and I came to see a gig in a pub nearby. Too bad that I did not enjoyed much of a girlfriend is because of the incredible overcrowding of the room.
The "surprise" in the title of which I speak, about the work: for the current week were set shifts very relaxing (and two days off a few rounds of 4 hours), which were promptly changed to business needs. So I find myself working almost like in a normal week. Fortunately, that 31 is closed all day, and January 1 in the afternoon work (last year I started at 10:00 in the morning, imagine what the state we have presented, I and my colleagues). It's not a big deal, but there are still a bit 'wrong, since I had made the illusion of a week of semi-vacation.
For the last year I still have no specific programs. This year, remain here in Klagenfurt in Austria a couple of friends who attend the university, and this is already something very positive. I think as usual we will start to rotate to various bars and clubs in the late afternoon. I have not planned any party or dinner in particular. I was invited to a dinner in a restaurant, but I opted to dodge it, especially because I'd already submitted beyond tipsy (or almost) and also because I prefer to avoid closing 2-3 hours in a restaurant last year. Also it is a seafood restaurant, which I do not eat.
Here in town, the new year is that the fireworks are no longer prohibited in the historic center, so I fear that someone gets hurt (hope not). Like every New Year's Eve, have organized several outdoor events, with DJs and live concerts. Too bad that makes a lot of cold, and therefore is not recommended to stay open longer (for the final are scheduled minimum of -7 degrees, which is still less cold in previous years).
