Yesterday was a day quite challenging.
I finished work at three in the afternoon, and ran home, as I waited for the "real" job: moving. The
student residence where I lived for two years is quite old. E 'was built in the 70s and has never been renovated because of the extreme race to savings implemented by the company for years of Salzburg that runs it. As just one example, one of two elevators was broken for at least four years. Eventually they decided to get hold of, and for that entire wing of the building was evacuated, wing course in which he lived myself.
At the end I went well, as many other tenants have been evicted, while me and some others have been given another room.
I started to "move" around 15:30, to finish at 23:00.
I thought it was easier, but I had no view of the fact that in two years I have accumulated a lot of knick-knacks, books, CDs, DVDs, gadgets .....
Luckily, they gave me a room on the same floor, I had long way to go, and as my old room will be demolished, I did not even have to clean it. The room
"new" is almost identical to the one I had before, a few inches bigger, facing west instead of east (now I see the sunset, the sunrise I saw maybe a couple of times, going to bed late ) and the carpet in conditions even worse. Unfortunately the view is worse than before, no more park, replaced by concrete and asphalt.
Today, after work, spend another Oretta to put in order the chaos that I have at the moment (I did photos, because it is a shame), reconnect the notebook (I'm posting from the office), and change the mattress as the "new" is much worse than I had before, with springs that make sounds absurd in my 90 pounds. Perhaps not even the fault of the mattress.
From friends who have gone, I inherited an electric heater and a vacuum better than I had before.
In the meantime, I went to see a couple of apartments, but both were a disappointment: it was a small, perhaps smaller than where I live now, and the other was great, but not furnished, no terrace, in an almost derelict house, near the railway and a pathetic sight. On the bill, the second also wanted a disproportionate amount (450 €) for what they gave you. Maybe I'll go to see one before the end of this week. At the student I am quite well, so I have no hurry to move. I intend to do so until they find an apartment that I really like it.
For the universities are still undecided. Several friends are encouraging me to try, also because of the fact that it is free, so if I can not give up when I want, and to limit the money I spent just books, however, that I have left.
go down Monday in Italy, to spend some 'time with parents and friends, I want to see a lot. Will take advantage to buy a little 'books, play with the PC, take a stroll to shops, but especially for lounging at the bar and home. Perhaps I shall take advantage of the fact that Austria is a friend of mine in Jesolo to spend some time with him. I saw the advertisement of new running shoes Decathlon, and look beautiful. If you convince me even live, maybe I'll buy a pair. I have a couple of tennis for three years, and for the money I paid was really good shoes. I leave you a photo below.
